Lanificio Nello Gori represents one of the historic textile institutions in the Prato district, with a tradition whose roots go back to the 1950s. Recognised worldwide for its production of carded and recycled wool-blend fabrics, the wool mill stands out for its artisanal excellence and its commitment to sustainable innovation.

Over the past decades, Lanificio Nello Gori has dedicated itself to the development of fabrics for both men’s and women’s outerwear, paying particular attention to quality and design. In the 1990s, the product range expanded with the introduction of technical fabrics for sportswear and workwear, also using recycled synthetic fabrics, mainly polyester.

Today, the company focuses its production mainly on recycled wool fabrics for both men’s and women’s outerwear. Production capacity exceeds 2 million metres per year, the result of the combination of artisanal tradition and modern spinning and weaving plants.

In addition to serving the domestic market, Lanificio Nello Gori exports its fabrics to Europe, maintaining a consolidated presence in the main markets such as Germany, France and the United Kingdom. Its fabrics have for years enjoyed appreciation from the leading American retailers, confirming its reputation for quality and reliability.

Since 2010, the company has extended its activity by also becoming a clothing manufacturer, maintaining the same high standards of excellence that distinguish its fabrics.
