Filatura Gimal is a company founded in the 1980s in Prato, specialised in the contract processing of carded yarns exclusively in carbonised white for weaving. Since 1992, the company has devoted itself solely to the processing of white-on-white blends and carbonised white for dyeing, guaranteeing its clients yarns that are completely free from contamination by colours, fibres or other impurities.
Filatura Gimal offers contract spinning services, focusing on carded yarns in carbonised white for weaving, with counts from Nm 4 to Nm 14.
With a 2000 mm semi-automatic OCTIR carding set we produce counts ranging from 7,000 to 24,000 (Prato count).
For over 30 years the company has worked exclusively with carbonised white, ensuring its many clients a final product free from contamination and at the top of its category.
