Imbozzimatura M.Due is a Montemurlo-based company that has specialised in the sizing of sectional warps for over fifty years. Thanks to two state-of-the-art plants — one of which features a double size box — the company guarantees tailor-made treatments for every type of yarn, ensuring the highest quality in the preparation for weaving.
Imbozzimatura M.Due was established in the early 1970s in Montemurlo, in the heart of the Prato textile district, with a clear mission: to prepare yarn for weaving with the utmost care and precision. For over fifty years, the company has specialised in sizing — the process of coating and dressing that improves the mechanical properties of the yarn, increasing its abrasion resistance, reducing its hairiness and ensuring the ideal flexibility to withstand the stresses of the loom.
The Via Milano, 46 site is equipped with two Ramallumin electronic sizing lines: one of the two features a double size box, with a maximum beam diameter of 1000 mm and a maximum beaming height of 3000 mm, making it particularly suitable for warps with a high thread density. The machines are equipped with automatic squeezing adjustment, automatic temperature control of the cylinders and continuous elongation detection devices, for constant control of every stage of the process.
Before each process, the team carefully assesses the most suitable treatment for every type of warp yarn — from wools to cottons, from cellulosic and viscose fibres to technical yarns and the most complex blends — and then proceeds with the actual sizing cycle, without ever compromising the subsequent stages of weaving, dyeing and finishing.
