Filordi is a young warping mill based in Montemurlo, founded in January 2023 from the vision of Riccardo and Giada.
Despite its recent foundation, the company can rely on over 25 years of experience in the textile sector gained by Riccardo, today the driving force of a modern, dynamic and highly specialised business.
Filordi is a warping mill located in Montemurlo, in Via Biella, within a new facility designed to meet the needs of a contemporary textile industry increasingly oriented towards quality, precision and production speed.
Founded in January 2023 by Riccardo and Giada, Filordi is a young company built on solid foundations of experience. Riccardo brings over 25 years of expertise in the textile warping sector to the company, a factor that has enabled the company to quickly establish itself as one of the most modern and qualified businesses in the Prato scene.
The company operates mainly in the high end of the market and specialises in the processing of cashmere, alpaca and fine fibres, producing any type of article with the utmost attention to the quality of the final result.
In terms of production, Filordi has:
- 1 sample warper for short lengths
- 1 sample warper for small productions
- 1 sectional warper with double creel to optimise production
An advanced technical configuration that allows the company to guarantee high quality standards, operational precision and production flexibility.
The team is made up of 7 people including employees and external collaborators, built through a balance of experience, expertise and a strong passion for the work.
Filordi today represents a new generation of Prato warping: specialised, structured and geared towards textile excellence.
