Over the years, Pontetorto has stood out for the quality of its collections and a strong drive towards innovation. A key milestone in the company’s history came in 1985, when Pontetorto became the first company in Europe to develop an extensive collection of fleece fabrics under the Tecnopile brand, revolutionising the sportswear and outdoor sector.

Today the company operates in the fashion, activewear and technowear sectors, developing high-performance fabrics that combine aesthetic research, comfort, technical innovation and attention to environmental impact. The continuous selection of the finest raw materials and the use of advanced technologies allow Pontetorto to maintain extremely high quality standards recognised at international level.

Sustainability is one of the company’s core values. Pontetorto was among the first European companies to concretely believe in sustainable textile production, investing in advanced recycling systems, recycled yarns and biodegradable fibres. An approach that involves the entire production chain and today makes the company a benchmark in responsible textiles.

Among the most innovative projects developed by the company is the Textile to Textile (T2T) system, an internal circular economy process that makes it possible to recover the textile waste produced during processing and transform it back into new fibre and new fabrics, reducing waste and environmental impact.
