Contract weaving between textile tradition and production flexibility.
B.G.P. srl is a contract weaving mill based in Campi Bisenzio, in the heart of the Prato textile district, specialised in the production of samples and small textile runs with high operational flexibility. The company works closely with its clients to turn creative ideas and projects into concrete fabrics, offering fast response times and great attention to production needs.
The machine fleet consists of Dornier dobby looms and Dornier Jacquard looms, which make it possible to weave different types of yarns and create even complex textile structures. Thanks to these technologies the company is able to work fancy yarns such as bouclé, slub or sequin yarns alternated with smooth, fine yarns, offering great design freedom in fabric development.
Alongside the main looms, the weaving mill also has shuttle looms, used to produce accessory fabrics with finished selvedges, a feature particularly appreciated for products with an artisan character and high quality.
To support clients during all stages of the production process, Tessitura B.G.P. also provides complementary services such as warping for samples and production runs, drawing-in and loom set-up of new textile structures, as well as knotting operations that help optimise production times.
